READ

  • You may (or may not!) have heard of regenerative agriculture. Well, several brands are applying that concept to fashion. Regenerative fashion is being defined as clothes created from fibers from farms that employ “farming and grazing practices that, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded soil biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle.” Check out the brands highlighted by No Kill Magazine. My wishlist picks:

Brene Brown

LISTEN

  • I am a huge Brené Brown fan and this past week I mentioned her to my therapist and she recommended listening to episode eleven of Unlocking Us with Brené Brown, “I’m Sorry: How to Apologize & Why it Matter, Part 1 of 2.” The deeper my relationships have become and the older I’ve gotten, the more I realize the importance of accountability and apologizing. One of my favorite parts of this episode was how Harriet Lerner breaks down the three gifts of apologizing. Give it a listen this week!

    • The three gifts of heartfelt apologizing: (1) gift to the other person, (2) gift to the self, (3) and a gift to the relationship.

WATCH

  • Did you catch my recent blog post, DIY Taco Tour: NYC? If you’re less into reading and would rather watch a 60 second summary, check out my Tiktok video about the taco tour my boyfriend and I designed for our date night several weeks ago. It was so fun!

SMELL

  • I’ve never been super consistent into my perfume usage, but I love the idea of a signature scent (I think the key may be scenting your laundry and using home sprays, but that’s another post). I’ve seen several recommendations online for the brand Dossier, which has recognizable scents for less. The Citrus Ginger and Ambery Saffron are really intriguing to me and I think I’ll be trying one of those soon. Let me know if you’ve tried this brand and if there are any that you love!

TASTE

  • I think I’ve found my new favorite chocolate chip cookie, and it’s no longer from Levain Bakery. I know, I know, that sounds sacrilege. However, the Nutella chocolate chip cookie from Maman is heavenly. Heavenly! I am forcing myself to not get one every single day, because that’s probably frowned against by physicians, buy whew, it’s tough!

    in warmth,
