This week’s feast for your senses.

WATCH

  • I’ve been trying to build a morning routine for myself, and one of the things I want to get in the habit of doing is stretching every morning. I tried Mady Morrison’s 15 Min. Full Body Stretch | Daily Routine for Flexibility, Mobility & Relaxation, and although at times it was hard to just…stretch, I know my body appreciated it. These are low and slow stretches perfect for introducing any kind of movement to your daily routine.

LISTEN

  • Do you listen to podcasts? I admit that it’s hard for me to keep up with them, but there are a lot of good ones I’ve been made aware of and am trying to listen to. I listened to the Dismantled Podcast from Intersectional Environmentalist this week. Their episode, Dropping the Corporate Status Quo ft. Dropps CEO, Jonathan Propper contained an interesting fact about why, even as there is a rise in demand from consumers, sustainable and eco-friendly products are relegated to harder to locate shelf spaces.

    • “Sustainability and affordability are not mutually exclusive.”

SMELL

  • I can’t speak to the antimicrobial or immune-boosting effectiveness of this Immune Guard, but it smells so freaking good! I’ve been dabbing on a few drops with some vitamin E oil and lavender oil before bed. The scent is warm and comforting, plus I feel like it helps to open up my sinuses.

TASTE

  • Weekends are for snacking (as are weekdays, lbr)! Lemme up your snack game. The Calbee brand shrimp chips in the hot garlic flavor are everything you want in a chip. Crunchy, light, and flavorful without being greasy. If they’re not already a snacking staple, check out your local Asian grocery store and get some this week.

in joy,
